It's not uncommon for Mikey to do this. I get it if he's talked about a commitment to be undisputed at 135 but he hasn't. He's talked more about wanting a big fight at welterweight and that his future lies north of 135.

I stopped being a fan of his a while back when I saw him call for fights and then take far less pleasing fights when offered what he asked for. The Spence talk was so apparent yet people wanted to give him credit just for talking about it now he signs to fight Commey. Like I said if Mikey had said "My goal is to be undisputed at 135" I'd support that but he's always shot down the Loma fight as an option and doesn't think it can happen.

Like I said disappointing but hardly out of the norm.

Commey is a solid fighter, I like him and he's earned his shot. I fully expect Garcia to win though, and hopefully we then get him facing Loma for all the belts.
