Why were people expecting anything less? Joshua is a mega star and will be at this mark or better regardless of who he fights. His support in the UK hasn't waned since the Wilder debacle.

So just off the PPV, the fight generated around $28.6 million before distributor gets their share. Was it PPV in Russia as well? And DAZN I'm guessing paid a decent amount of money for this fight? The live gate should be around $8-10 million as well.

For Wilder/Fury to generate that type of money, they would have to do around 325-375k US buys and 500k UK buys. Though again, not sure if it was or wasn't PPV in Russia.
