If not then it must of been close?

AJ is the biggest sports star in the UK right now.

I seriously doubt that... Hearn has been on record about AJ doing less than 1 million against Takam.

Sky PPV doesn't release the numbers. There is all kinds of people who say AJ has the biggest PPV numbers yet there are a bunch of articles that name May/Mac the biggest PPV in the UK breaking AJ/Wlad numbers.

Even though UK ppv's are cheaper than US ones the Wilder vs Fury fight will have to do pretty good numbers (300-450K depending on the price) to match this in terms of revenue.

Maybe the Takam fight didn't hit it as WARMIKEY said but 800k ain't too shabby. I think the Takam fight is the only AJ PPV that I myself didn't buy.

AJ v Fury is the only fight I can see beating May/Pac numbers.

Given the awful undercard I'm surprised it got to 1.1 mil to be honest. This was the first ppv of Joshua's I haven't bought other than klitschko (which I was at wembley for)
