I don't think anyone AJ included can give meaning to lineal you need to make the unbroken line something like 6-7 fighters deep.

Fury beat one bloke Vlad that's it .. he won one fight off a guy who never beat the guy. The line is currently one deep.

Apparently not, since he is constantly referred to as the lineal champion by the vast majority of journalists around the world.

What is reasonable about pretending he never beat Klitschko because he may have used steroids for a fight that took place prior to beating Klitschko?

I'm a Fury fan but I think he should have lost his lineal title while he was out. If the winner of Wilder-Fury fights Joshua next then I think the winner of that should be the new lineal champ.

What you are saying is the actual reality of it. The winner of Fury/Wilder will be the lineal champ so if the winner fights AJ, its the same circumstance.

Unless there is another fight in the interim and the current lineal champ loses, that is.
