There are red heads in Spain, which is probably where Canelo would get his features from, so probably not anglo, but yes white/caucasian. I think what most people miss is that there's also a cultural aspect to being considered white, at least in the US, and Canelo is a straight up proud Mexican (hispanic not anglo).
