2017 was a great year for boxing. Almost every meaningful fight got done.

Now it is time to for new highly anticipated fights to start brewing.

Not at all boxing on ESPN and fox is way bigger than HBO. If top rank and pbc can give us great fights on those two Channels boxing will be ok.

Al Haymon doesn't do that if it wasn't for Kathy duva getting that deal she had with NBC. She actually brought boxing back to network tv on NBC.

You can put a gazillion dollars into the sport, but if the best guys choose not to fight eachother, nobody cares. Fans dont tune in to see who cashes the biggest paychecks. Floyd fans do, but not sports fans in general.

What exactly were these other avenues that had never been traveled before? Boxing on cable tv? Been done before. Boxing on network tv? Been done before. All in the 80s and 90s. So what exacty are these other avenues?

True but i doubt all these networks want to throw cash at a dying sport. Plus the extra money might make these fights happen
