              I guess it's just a stay busy opponent which is fair enough. Degale has been in back to back tough fights for about 4 years, he deserves an easy touch. Guy hasn't stopped anyone since 2014 and he's been in six fights since then which all went the full 12!

                Probably a shrewd move to vacate that belt.

                James conceivably is just targrting Smith and Groves and then calling it a day.

                He’s had a great career, James. But he’s got to be thinking about exit strategies.

                Looking back on it. That DeGale and Groves fight has probably prematurely cut both careers. Not that either sustained any real damage in the fight but because neither could drop off the competition too far after that.

                    yeah degale is a warrior for sure, just seemed like an excessively bad opponent.
