Duran is one of my 3-4 favorite fighters of all time, and I love Canelo as a boxer and I agree with him that he would beat Mayweather now but it's clear that Duran became Oscar's mouthpiece in the last couple of years. He's just doing what he can in order to keep getting those goldenboy checks and survive.

Anywhere from 155-160 this version of Canelo beats this version of Floyd.
Canelo is a much different fighter than 2013. You saw it in the GGG rematch, when Canelo wants to go toe to toe he can effectively against top competition. He was too green to adjust in the first fight.

Canelo has a lot bigger problems than Mayweather.

He still hasn't definitively beat Golovkin. The network he was fighting on just left the Boxing business.

Canelo would be lucky to get a fight with Mayweather. He should be trying to find a network and getting a 3rd fight with Golovkin to prove he's the best MW.

CJ Ross managed to give Canelo 6 rounds in a fight where its hard to find 2 or 3 rounds that he won clearly and Moretti gave Canelo too many rounds as well IMO. I guess the plan next time would be actually robbing Mayweather.

it will be unfair to ask floyd to fight at 160.. let alone the top dog of the division...
now if he wants those titles it will be a different story and i will favor a prime canelo over an old an inactive floyd, but lets be honest prime for prime floyd was a better fighter than canelo...
