Boxers will benefit because there is more demand for their services. That's a good thing.

But as fans we didn't always get the fights we wanted before because of the HBO/Showtime rivalry...will it be even worse now that there are 3 competing networks?

Interesting thing with Joshua tied to DAZN in the US now, will Fast Eddie allow him to go to Showtime for the Wilder fight?

Lomachenko-Garcia should be easy to make if both want it since Garcia is a promotional free agent.

      Crawford-Spence? Not happening.

Hearn (DAZN) definitely has no problem making his top fighters fight each other.

More competition is always good for the consumer. That's Economics 101.

I believe the different companies will benefit boxing in the long run competing companies would push each other to make bigger ppvs, more stars, and eventually more reason for networks to invest.

However I would like to put an emphasis on the fact that its really PBC in the drivers seat and been that way for a while. I believe they are the ones actually pushing competition in the sport ironically. But now that they have a TV deal the question is how do they grow the sport now?

I think its good for fans. Ultimately more money is gonna give us more & better product. The last 2yrs were very good boxing years with a lot of good fights & I think that trend only continues as the current big players in the game try to claim the crown HBO lost years ago, but no one has really claimed yet.

Sure some fights won't be makeable, but thats about the trend of boxers being the product of promoters & the sport being more of a business. Thats gonna be a problem til boxing matures its thought process with a more enlightened thought process & the sport of boxing is restored to being a sport again & the business becomes better than ever cuz its a sport like everyone actually wants it to be.

The three biggest fights that should be made right now are:

                Wilder vs. Joshua

                Crawford vs Spence

                Lomachenko vs. Garcia

Wilder, Spence and Garcia are Haymon advised fighters. While Lomachenko and Crawford are Arum promoted fighters and lastly Joshua is a Matchroom Boxing promoted fighter.

Fighters need to demand fights. NO EXCUSES. Spence needs take a real fight and fight Crawford. NO EXCUSES.

The real question is How does PBC grow the sport from here on out. Matchroom needs a foothold in the USA and Top ranks deal with ESPN is so unknown..... one could only imagine all the hurdles they have to jump through I mean tbh Top rank is basically becoming TR+ everyone who isn't PBC affiliated.

Matchroom and TR are playing defense their only moves to improve the sport right now is to keep their fighters in house and prolong their megafights for as long as possible so that they make enough money networks will care.

People should be asking how can they continue to grow the sport.... the most obvious solution would be to either put the other promoters out of business or destroy the ABC boys.

Ratings and numbers are great but long term the sport needs to be viewed as something that's part of the American culture even if its niche
