Yea the odds were basically a pickem for that fight, but I couldn't have disagreed more with the odds (& my betting bankroll now shows that lmfao). And why would you? Groves looked great in the WBSS & Smith looked like garbage. Hell I thought Skoglund was close to beating him if he'd just been a lil better or Smith a lil worse that night. So I understand why people where underestimating him.

Hell most of the people who were hyping him going into the WBSS tournament had quieted down quite a bit since the WBSS started so I think a lot of them even flipped on the guy lol.

Outside of the actual odds of this fight this feels like a big upset to me despite it not really being much of an upset.

I thought Groves would knock Smith out in the later rounds but Callum showed up. That was some great boxing.

          Groves isn't overrated. He's a quality operator.

Groves is not that old, he’s only 30. And Groves is very good, not great, but still very good. I was surprised to learn Smith stopped him.

Wouldnt be surprised if he has motivation issues. Compare his performances in his 3 most important fights Groves, Mohoumadi and Fielding to other fights. Like 2 different fighters.
