So you basically don't think Thurman is gonna do nothing in 2019? Cuz I'd argue any interesting move Thurman makes is PPV based on these fights being PPV.

      Thurman vs Spence
      Thurman vs Porter II
      Thurman vs the Manny/Broner winner
      Thurman vs Mikey

Or Wilder vs Fury II isn't a PPV if that fight is close? Or Manny vs Porter or Spence? I mean sh^t man I keep thinking of potential PPV's lmfao. I'd bet these 3 PPV's aren't the last ones unless PBC sucks ass in 2019 overall.

In fairness who don't like a PPV fight, but sorta hate they gotta pay $70-$100 for it? So yea illegal streams for $200 Alex.

Thurman first fight back won't be PPV.

A Wilder-Fury rematch of course but.
I don't know man. We will see what they do.

I didn't say it would be. But if he does anything interesting in 2019 it will be.

I don't dig back to back to back PPV's. I was thinking Fox would be showing some good fights to a wide audience & it'd hope grow boxing a lil more with mainstream sports fans.

The best we'll probably get is that 1st Thurman comeback fight vs John Molina Jr or w/e on Fox. Then Thurman vs Porter II on PPV. Spence vs Thurman on PPV in 2020. If we're lucky the winner & Bud will still be players & we'll get Bud vs Thurman/Spence in 2021. Something to look forward to anyway.

Ppv is a paywall that limits exposure of the fighters involved.

Not looking fwd to more ppv

Honest question. Are you more to get seen on a PPV or a app?
I mean the reason Canelo got that big deal is from his PPV success.

Right now, its likely ppv. But it depends on the app provider and who is fighting. Canelo is the only active, proven north American ppv star. The rest are not. PBC has some work do to building their stable to the point of being profitable ppv events.

Who know how long that will take? Meanwhile, streaming is the future.

                  Seems like blockbuster vs netflix

                  This ppv vs streaming divide.

And this is on the outside looking in. Not us the boxing fans. We know about DAZN and ESPN+ apps but everybody else doesn't.

I mean CDs first hit the market I think in 1982 but by 1991 10 years later, albums were still selling more than CDs.

But on the other hand DVDs hit the market I think in 1998 and by 2002 VHS was no longer in production.

I guess it depends how soon it takes off.
