Where should Canelo go to next?

Big opportunity for Showtime and ESPN to get the cash cow. Where should he go or where would you like him to end up at? I think Showtime would be good.

I hope he doesn't sign a deal with anyone and just does fight by fight deals. The only thing is GBP may leverage him to a network to get dates for their other fighters.

I think Showtime fits him better as a platform & I'm sure he'd be a welcome addition to Showtime, but I wonder how much butthurt is going on between Oscar & Espinoza still &/or how much money Showtime has to throw Canelo's way.

One would think if they can make the Floyd deal out of the f#cking blue back in the day they'd have enough to offer Canelo a sexy deal today. Then again when Showtime had Floyd Showtime Boxing was all Floyd & nobody prospect type guys on Shobox almost exclusively. So with the PBC/Showtime situation going on now idk if they could break the bank to sign Canelo.

So I think Showtime is the best fit, but logistically idk if its possible. If its not Showtime I think it'll be ESPN...although Bob & Oscar got problems to so who knows if those two can work together either. So that being the case while I think DAZN is the third best choice I think its a close race & DAZN is a live dog to get Canelo. I'll be super curious to see what decision does get made with Canelo.

And I actually wouldn't be surprised if Oscar finds a deal with someone who's not fully got their toe in the boxing pool just yet to cuz you are immediately a player & grabbing some ratings just by having Canelo on your team so I don't think thats a crazy thought/plan either.

You guys think it will be in Canelo's best interest to free roam between Showtime and ESPN so he gets to fight everyone? I think the amount of money Showtime and ESPN can make off Canelo, I think he's the only one with leverage who can pull it off.

Unless someone offers him a huge guaranteed contract like Floyd got with Showtime.
