you guys are so desperate. MGM is already booked for that date. It was between staples and another Vegas hotel and they went with staples. That’s why it’s only official now. If mgm was open they 100% would have had it there

Staples is a good venue for boxing but It don't sound like it was their first choice. I think the best option would have been to have it in NY. Wilder is a draw there and it would be better for UK Tv as well.

Biggest Draw in Los Angeles is Leo Santa Cruz, been able to Fill Up Staples multiple times now. Not so sure about Leo on the undecard, too big in LA to be on a Undercard when him vs Russell can be a massive event on its own particularly in Los Angeles

I would have went if it was in Vegas plus honestly I’m more interested in the rumored undercard bouts so I might go if I like the undercard.

But still staples seems odd for this fight.

Staples is best location if not in Vegas weather better for people traveling what was other location to use Brooklyn in winter and snow?

Had to b non-casino venue....high rollers and the general public outside of Alabama have never been interested in Wilder and Fury is literally unknown to US casuals. Ppv will flop...especially if no big name Hispanic fighter on card ala Canelo or Santa Cruz on Floyds undercards.
