In sports, monopoly is great for the fan. What basketball fan is wishing the US had four major leagues where the best players were spread across them and never played each other?

The best thing for a US boxing fan is for PBC to dominate, have most of the best fighters, and eventually crown a PBC champion and leave the alphabelts in the dust.
you would be hard pressed to find someone who subscribed to HBO just for the boxing, especially since most all of their top events were PPV anyways.....

Same with Showtime. The boxing is just a door prize. I have it for Homeland, Ray Donovan, etc., so the boxing is just a bonus.....

I know plenty of people that pay $8.99 a month for Showtime specifically for boxing. I used to know plenty of people who subscribed to HBO specifically for boxing, but most of them canceled and switched to Showtime over the last few years.

I read just fine. You’re content on your sit n spin.

Pbc fanboys last week. “More boxing channels is good for boxing”
Pbc fanboys today. “Less boxing channels is good for boxing”

The issue isn't the amount of channels. The NFL is on a ton of channels. The issue is how many islands there are. PBC being on FOX and SHO is good because it's more exposure and more money, without adding an island.

HBO going away means GGG will end up in the PBC, ESPN or DAZN universe and you'll get a bunch of great fights you wouldn't have gotten otherwise. Three way split is way better for fans than four way split. Whether that's three channels or 30 channels isn't the issue. It's how many talent pools there are.

Look, you can spin it how you want. You guys are hypocrites regardless. Whether the term channels or islands or feather dusters is used, you said more boxing is better. Now you’re saying less is. Using the networks as an excuse for fights not being made is just that, an excuse. Fighters who want to fight eachother, do. Fighters that dont, make excuses. I have seen in the past few days a few posters claiming they dont care about drug testing now. They never did. They just didnt want to admit it was an excuse to avoid a fight.
