Great no more biased commentating. Max kellerman with his canelo is winning the story of the fight thing. What the **** does that even mean? I really did use to love the production value of HBO the lights and the picture quality were beautiful. It's kinda a better sweet moment. End of a era indeed, Arum and haymon killed HBO.Comment

Yeah I think lampley will retire he's made some good money and he's old but Roy could still do this at least another 15 years. I just hope someone picks him up before he resorts to jumping back in the ringComment

Think Showtime surpassed them, but damn many great fights on HBO.

Kellerman is the type of guy who tries to play on both sides of the fence.Comment

Very sad news, a lot of younger fans here and people who only started watching boxing recently, but this is a sad day for fans who watched HBO boxing in the 80s-90s-mid 00s.
I don't see what's to celebrate, HBO was once the pinnacle of boxing. Their production was top notch, not just the live events but the documentaries, 24/7 specials, etc.
HBO has produced some of the best boxing moments in history, but started going downhill in the last decade. In the end, HBO did it to themselves.
R.I.P. HBO Boxing
Thanks for the memories.
Lot of kids and man children in this forum bro. They're always arguing over ratings and promoters. Any true boxing fan knows HBO has been pivotal in keeping boxing alive here in the states. So many legendary fights and fighters. I hate to see boxing leave any networkComment

We all saw this coming, but it's still shocking to read. 45 years is a long time broadcasting most of the sport's biggest fights. Fortunately the sport is in good hands with Top Rank - ESPN and PBC - Showtime / FOX. Plus there's DAZN too.Comment
