Mayweather would also beat A Prime Roberto Duran

In their 2nd and 3rd fight Sugar Ray Leonard used alot of movements, and jabs.

At 135 is the only weigh class that Duran have a good chance of beating Floyd. At 140-152 Floyd via Decision.

Well I am biased because I am a huge Floyd fan but I have always maintained this is the one fantasy fight I'd love to watch. I give Floyd an excellent chance to win given his reach, speed, and defense.

    Floyd by UD.

I don't like Floyd style and I'm not a fan but prime Floyd can beat any WW in any era. The guy is just that good.

Now watch the thread turning into a Manny vs Floyd thread. Lol

Don't think so. He would compete but Duran was an absolute monster at his best. The higher the weight class the fight takes place, the better chance Floyd has but he probably still falls short. At 135? Forget about it. 147? Possibly, but Duran may just out hustle him.

I don't count the 3rd SRL fight as both were completely done, but in the rematch it was still very competitive before Duran quit. Floyd would have a better chance vs Duran than SRL or Hearns though.

I'd give Floyd a chance against the Duran who showed up against Leonard in the second fight after a short training camp. Against the Duran who showed up for the first fight, I'd give Floyd virtually no chance. Against 38 year old middleweight Duran...I have no idea.

No Floyd would not. Duran would crowd him like Maidana and he was a better techinician than Maidana. Floyd didnt throw enough punches to keep him off.

That's a helluva fight. Floyd would have to earn that one for sure. 55-45 Floyd is how i would slice it

People tend to overrate fighters of the past like the fighters of today wouldn't stand a chance against them.
