I'm actually with you on this one. If you are guilty of ****, you deserve to pay dearly for such a serious crime. If you aren't guilty, your reputation is still ruined and the accuser should face legal consequences. Serious accusations without substantiation is character assassination. Nobody wants to be associated with a rapist or even someone who is wrongfully accused of such a heinous crime.
