        this is probably for publicity

sanctioning bodies should be rounded up and given cement slippers.

His son is the best ever and that settles it. Chad Dawson was also very good under him and Oscar Deal Hoya.

Well that argument is offset by the fact that the father won't let their son take unnecessary punishment if they see the fight reaching a point of no hope. And THEN when you add the fact that it's also the refs and the doctors job to protect the fighters as well that makes this rule even more ******. Keep it the same, if they want to change anything in boxing it should be the ranking system or the fact that different networks hinder big fights from happening. I mean in the NBA, NFL and Premier League teams aren't allowed to pick and choose who they play in the championship. Find a way to make ducking obsolete.

Our point is to make a long term resolution because some of the tragedies that have happened in the ring - most of them have happened with the father in the corner," Sulaiman told BoxingScene.com.
I'd like to know what tragedies Sulaiman is referring to.

I believe the opposite,, A father in a Fighter's corner will throw in the towel when they feel their son is in trouble more so than a trainer that is not a Father

There’s been excellent father son teams that have ended up with the son in the hall of fame with his faculties intact and they all stayed together - the Jofre’s, the Trinidad’s, the Calzaghe’s, The Lomachenko’s are doing great. If anything it’s trending up more than ever. The only one of those to really take a “beating” was Tito against Hopkins and that was more of a schooling and his dad stopped it too.

                      WBC are garbage.
