joe joyce to be lead sparring partner for tyson furys camp

I can't see that being very beneficial in all honesty.
If Tyson even has a quarter of the speed and positioning he used to then sparring against joyce is akin to walking around whilst someone throws a flump marshmallow at you in slow-mo.
I would have thought there are better HW's to utilise for sparring that possess the frame and speed necessary to somewhat imitate wilder, and maybe even try to imitate his looping style. Joyce isnt that guy IMO.

Joyce is even more awkward then wilder..at 6'6 and a much better boxing pedigree minus speed..its a perfect guy and will give Fury a major advantage bc Wilder will struggle to find a 6'9 southpaw to mimick Fury.
If fury focuses on defense reflex training itself it will be a bad night for Wilder.
Im not buying into Fury isn't ready bc his way over hyped fight against Klitchko was the fact neither threw shots....
I would take the word on guys hes sparred and who are in the gym with him, theres literally minimal difference to how he looked this year to any of his fights.
Lets be real here against a guy who has poor balance and relies on one punch who doesn't even set it up correctly this is not a mismatch, how could it be? smh.
In a 50/50 fight im going with fury based on wilders lack of.....Last edited by juggernaut666; 09-25-2018, 03:05 PM.

Interesting...
Going to be hard to mimic that combination of Size, Athleticism, Power and Awkwardness for Fury, just like it is going to be a challenge to find a 6'9 Guy with Fury Footork, Slickness and Reflexes
Should be a lot of Film Studying on Both Sides
