Exactly! Wilder would be a fool to enter any negotiations before the Wilder vs. Fury numbers (PPV & Live Gate) come in. When Hearn said that Wilder vs. Joshua wasn't a $100 million dollar fight, I've been trying to understand the UK market! If Wilder vs. Fury drew 80,000 people in NY, LA, NV, or TX, the live gate alone is at least $100 million! What makes the UK so different?

Wilder knows 15 million is a lot. But he knows how much Josh will get in comparison. And he doesn't want Josh to get too rich off of his back.
This is what it boils down to.
I know its a catch 22 situation. But to beat Josh all Wilders dreams can come true. He will make all the money in the world after beating Josh.
So don't see Josh as a retirement payday. See it as the start of things to come. The world is your oyster after beating Josh.

15 million was about 35% in those terms.
Joshua made 21 million dollars against klitchcko and that was a sell out 90k stadium and 1.8k box office buys.
If wilder and his management want to behave even more greedily then this fight never takes place.
Let wilder continue making peanuts against cans it's that simple.
It boggles my mind that they can turn down 15million when the highest purse they had made was 2.4 million.

Can't say I blame Wilder's team. This circus should have ended at "Joshua accepts $80M 2 fight deal," but here we are talking about who deserves what percentage, when Hearn has only offered flat fees to this point. And there is still no one who can explain why Joseph Parker is worth more than Wilder, but can explain all the b side taking points for why Wilder should sign a bogus contract. $5M-$8M guarantee with 35%-40% split, and a confirmed date and location, would probably have Wilder signing immediately. Instead, we have more roadblocks, one of which is "agree to fight us before you potentially raise your stock again" lol
