The mans a prick, no doubt about it. He should have been given a community service order in addition though.
50-100 hours teaching underprivileged kids how to box might have had more effect on him than a fine; Gypsies are used to money coming and going, what they're not used to is having to work at an honest job.

Hopefully the injury to hes pocket stops him before he does something really ******. He's getting more out of control over time. Hes always been a bully, but things are going to hes head.

Completely separate issues. I agree he risks his life for the money he earns but he chose that path and the innocent passerby that he ordered that skank to punch could have killed him. - Then a £100k fine would have been a pathetic punishment.

Hopefully that's the last of the controversy from Saunders but I doubt it.

I wish this prick had to provide community service to those with addictions and the fine. War Andrade!

The white knights out defending some miserable crack whore, 100,000 seems like a bit much imo.

Without a doubt one of the biggest scumbags in the sport.

The press conferences, throwing chickens at other fighters, his interviews, and now this.

What goes around, comes around, BJ is going to be accountable eventually, and measly 100 grand fines will be the least of it.

Wow, since when is Boxing in the UK turning into the police? This is a job for the police, not some Boxing officials. What a weird place.

I agree with your comparison and the weight of the fines but Chisora throwing that table was at a press conference and created mad hype for the fight and put more money in the pockets of everyone involved. Regardless of whether or not it was justified, everyone knows money trumps morality and a code of conduct.
This was just a typical bonehead move by BJS. If he doesn't watch out he'll end up a penniless drug addict like the man he was mocking. Anyone who's followed BJS' career knows he can be exceptional and he can be downright trash. If he's not taking the fight game seriously and goofing off instead of training, he can easily be beat by Andrade who is a bit of a shutdown boxer like BJS with long arms and can outpoint BJS if he's not at his best.

I disagree totally. Trash talking and antics in the ring, at press conferences and build up to the fight are one thing, but there's no room in any pro sport for this kind of behavior. Not even an out of control post-prison era Mike Tyson was getting on with this kind of nonsense. It's all about the reputation of the sport which is already poor with the corruption and mismatches. We should be trying to grow boxing and bring back respectability to the sport and have people taking it seriously again. No one wants a WWE level of legitimacy and garbage like this doesn't help one bit.
