Of course Fury's not deserving of a title shot yet, against anyone - he's fought 2 bums so far in his comeback and one of them was a 40 year old Cruiserweight. The only reason Wilder's fighting him is he believes Fury is not yet the fighter that he was before the hiatus, but still a great name to have on the victim list which would boost his negotiating power.
Unless Fury can find the form he had against Klitschko he will get sparked out at some point against Wilder - all it takes is 1 mistake in 12 rounds. If he does find that form to get the win, Wilder will have a rematch clause anyway so there's no way Fury could fight AJ in April.
That being said, although I would watch the rematch with Whyte further down the line there's other names for AJ to fight 1st. Outside of Wilder and Fury there's; Ortiz, Miller, Pulev, even Mini-Fury. I'd also like to see Kownacki and Joyce get a title shot at some point as long as they keep winning. Then there's Usyk probably moving up to HW as well.

Wilder is going to need a Plan B, because I'm almost sure that Joshua vs. Whyte will be announced before December 1st! They'll say the contract had to be signed to lock in the April date, etc.!
Dom is already #1 contender though. Why would he risk that to fight Ortiz?

The only "consistent" thing about fighting Whyte again is the bvllshyt.
and Ironically, British fans would be upset because "They've already seen that fight"

          It doesn't.

Fury is taking the wilder fight fast. But no need to take Josh fight too fast. That can marinate.
They will fight next year sometime. Or 202o.

Lineal champ my behind, Fury does not deserve to fight Wilder at this point and you Wilder fan girls know that, Whyte deserves it way more. He has been laid out doing god knows what to his body, fought two bums then is gifted a title shot at his most vulnerable state.

Wilder is a slimy bustard, the Fury that beat Klitschko is no where near the level of present Fury, how convenient Wilder picked him at this stage after watching him fight bums!

My money is on Wilder winning a K.O, Fury would be beaten I just hope he doesn't run for the whole fight.

At the same time they'll make a lot of noise about working out a deal with Wilder they know will never transpire. By that time most Brits will either have accepted it as gospel truth or defend the fight out of loyalty.
                Yep. Nail on head.

Regarding the fight, he is no worse than the 39 bums Wilder made his career off of. Who has the better resume? AJ in half the fights. If Fury or Wilder not available who else is there? Can't make those guys fight.
Agree 100%. Also, compare Joshua’s ‘major scare’ against Wilder’s vs Ortiz. It gives you some perspective on who is the better, stronger, more skilled & relevant heavyweight champion.
