yeah he "beat" lara. Just another example of Canelo getting help from judges. And that still doesn't disprove my point that Canelo hasn't fought any elite fighters in their 20s.... Really ever. Don't act ****** like you don't know that 1 of the charlo bros and Lara have the same trainer and the other would've likely fought him had lara beaten Hurd. Now f*** off with your non boxing Canelo ball guzzling ass.

Or do you know some ancient secret none of us are privvy to? :P
No it just takes some boxing knowledge, which apparently you lack. It's not tough to figure out that ggg is 36 yrs old, he's shown signs of gradually slowing down for 2-3 yrs now, & seems gassed later in fights. Canelo just lacked the stamina, aggression and fight changing power to do anything about it. Charlo likely wouldn't have that problem.

It was very easy for slow ass lil G to hit clenelo. Wait to J Charlo brings that speed and power to his ass. I'm telling ya that they will duck Jamall Charlo 🥊.

Can't see the WBC enforcing anything on GGG in 2018, they will gently see if they can force the fight in 2019 until Canelo tells them what's up. It's a good fight but I wish Charlo had to face someone with a pulse at 160 to get the interim belt.

Honestly I would have favored Charlo before the Golovkin fights. Now though, I think it was obvious in the second fight that Canelo leveled up. I mean he backed up Golovkin in that second fight and completely beat Gennad at his own game and it was something to watch! Charlo is a great fighter, but he needs a Danny Jacobs type challenge to also be forced to level up. Canelo is a bit too seasoned for him right now IMO. He needs to roll the dice and fight Jacobs but if he goes ahead and takes on Canelo then it will be interesting to see how that goes down the stretch. He hasn't had to go deep since Trout so it will be very interesting to see him in with a guy he isn't stopping.

I used to think Charlo would dominate Canelo but at 160 we have seen Charlo vs one handicap in Heiland and Centento who quit against Julian Williams and has never been much. Canelo on the other hand seems to have improved and GGG hits harder at 160 than Charlo so I think I would favor Nelo

                  2. instead of coming here begging other people to root for Charlo and other black fighters, Shouldn't you start with your own community? (given that Black community is more aphetic when it comes to boxing and supporting their own)
                  3. I agree that people should not be bias towards any boxer, but people have the right to decide who they root for, and that should be non of your business. We live in a free country and we have the right to decide who we root for,
                  4. I don't see anybody here crying and begging you to root for so and so fighter, so don't try to impose your mentality on others.

Having said that I agree that the best fighters should fight the best and most dangerous fights. but then again isn't that what Canelo is been doing? He fought the boogie men of 154, Lara, and now the boogie man of 160 twice.
Begging? Lol Right. I'm not begging anybody to do anything. I'm just calling out the nonsense I see on here. It's not an issue of having enough support. Those guys have plenty of support imo. (You do realize LDBC is a thing right?) I'm talking about the blatant trash I see posted here daily.

Btw, boxing is a fringe sport. That's just reality. For Latinos in this country, it's the sport that produces their top athletes (baseball too but demographically there are some different things at play) so obviously that community is going to be big in terms of total numbers and support.

However, the average poster here is much more informed on boxing than the general public. I hold this community to a higher standard. Maybe that's just me.

Neither of them seem to want it.

Canelo has better skills but Charlo is more explosive. Neither of them have face an elite opponent in their prime, so its tough to say.

About what I was thinking. Canelo is the goods IMO, and Charlo is unproven against elites.
