He's really strong and athletic and good straight hand but he's no Lennox Lewis like that, his hooks aren't what they could be either, arm punches he doesn't torque his hooks

I find him bland generally , he's just an athlete , very vanilla

In a fight that most people scored 4-2 Povetkin, one judge had 5-1 AJ.

        that doesn't bother you?

Joshua is young and in his prime, he should go after the champions. He is dodging true opposition, and his next fight will be against whyte you'll see. That man has not beaten a proper champ yet, klitschko was 41 and even there he nearly lost.
I’m an AJ fan and I’m the first to admit he didn’t look too clever after the Wilder negotiations but he has fought Whyte,Klitschko,Parker and now Povetkin.

His CV pisses all over anything Wilder and Fury(apart from that one fight in Germany)

Also, with the Wilder negotiations, Wilders team did everything through the media. Funny that the fury-wilder negotiations were kept behind closed doors for most of the time isnt it?

So when you say he should go after the champions which champions do you mean? Wilder and manuel charr?
Do you think charr is a better opponent than Povetkin?

Wilder may be, but he also didn’t look to clever when he was being outboxed by ortiz for much of their fight.

they're both 39 but, Ortiz was considered to be a bigger threat to wilder than povetkin was to Joshua as evidenced by the betting odds on both fights. Mainly because Ortiz is better than povetkin

AJ's biggest claim is stopping 42 year old Wladimir after being dropped by 42 year old wladimir himself. Remember younger prime wladimir was stopped by guys who also didnt get dropped in the process.

Now AJ gets outboxed by smaller 39 year old povekin who had a long layoff.

No wonder AJ is ducking Wilder hard, he knows he is getting KTFO the moment he fights a prime fighter with a pulse. One that can punch.

Should it? How long have you been a boxing fan? Things like this are not a shock. Happens in America all the time. House fighter always has that 1 judge in any Country. The fact that we are talking about the scorecards which ultimately had no affect on the actual result is simply grasping at straws.

                      .

I’m reading this a lot. What’s the proof that Ortiz is better than Povetkin? On what basis?

Fair enough if it’s just your opinion, but it’s being chucked around on this board like it’s a fact.

Has Ortiz beaten better opponents or had more impressive wins? No.

                      Better amateur career? No.

                      Won more titles? No.

Interested to find out when he became such a monster, other than managing to outbox Wilder for a few rounds, before getting stopped (similar to Spilka & Washington)
