Povetkin older than Ortiz was when Wilder beat him.

Why did all the UK fans harp on how "old" Ortiz was when Wilder beat him, even though he was younger than the Povetkin facing Joshua? Where were the complaints from the UK fans about Povetkin being old?

And with Klitschko being several years older than both of them when he lost to Joshua, why is that win so highly regarded when Klitschko had already been exposed by Fury years earlier?

What's your point? Joshua AND Wilder would both be knocked out by Prime Lewis. Maybe even on the same night.

We know none of these guys are ATG status but it's fun and a lot more fun now than 5 years ago.

        You really failed to understand?
His point is that some people will run HARD with a topic, then pretend it doesn't matter when their guy is up to bat.

Wow some wilder fanboys don’t even like a good fight when they see one.

Sorry thismade Joshua’s resume even stronger.

There's no way Ortiz is the age he says he is. I'm pretty sure that his countrymen Yoel Romero said he's 42. However, both Ortiz and Povetkin are solid wins on anyone's résumé. Although I'd rate Povetkin higher, having the better pedigree.

Why do PBC ****riders keep talking about Povetkin failing PED tests, but never say anything about Ortiz being caught cheating twice?

Stuuuuupidest argument ever. The same way his comment affects your life apparently.
People come here to talk about boxing, don't bring grade school level arguments into this.

Well for one Ortiz real age is likely significantly higher than his documented age.

Secondly the key difference is no AJ fans are claiming Povetkin is this massive bogeyman of the division like Wilder fans are with Ortiz. They are not also demanding Wilder now fight Povetkin like Wilder fans are with Ortiz. Wilder fans even now still claim Ortiz is the clear third best heavyweight in the division even though he has done nothing to justify this. Whyte and Povetkin have both proved more worthy of this ranking.

Povetkin is a good solid win against the current third best ranked opponent just like Wilders win over Ortiz was at the time.

AJ resume is FAR deeper than Wilders which is only got Ortiz on it who he went life and death with. This is quite astonishing considering the amount of fights of both men and illustrates the sheer amount of bums Wilder has fought.
