Comments Thread For: Joshua's Coach: Povetkin is Not Parker or Takam - He's Top Level

World heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has described a return to London's Wembley Stadium for the latest defence of his title belts in front of a home crowd on Saturday as "a blessing". The 28-year-old Londoner will put his WBA, IBF, WBO, IBO titles on the line against Russia's Alexander Povetkin.

Doesn't matter when you got the ref in your pocket making sure Povetkin gets broken up.

Povetkin is,and has been on the slide. He is 39 yrs old ffs. If AJ struggles with him, it will clearly show that AJ should continue to duck Wilder and stick to inhouse fights like Whyte.

Next fight for AJ? Probably Whyte.

Don't hold Povetkin like Klitschko did all night long AJ, fight like a man big boy!

Sacha have a good chance to shock the world by TKO. I really hope he will succeed, but a premature stoppage in the other side is very very likely...

Hope you take zero offense for me to say I hope you are wrong on all those accounts.

Hope Povetkin has enough left in the tank it is a good fight for the right reasons.

Hope AJ KO's a game challenger, showing he is stil a worthy champ and at the peak of his skills.

Hope Wilder/Fury creates enough buzz that both camps admit they need each other and the HW fight everyone wants is in April.

Again, not saying you are wrong, HOPING you are for boxing's sake.

Motivated Parker would probably beat Povetkin imo, hes not young and a little overrated, especially if hes off the PEDs
Parker could have beat Gillian Whyte, he left it too late, it was a tough fight but I feel like he didn't want it as much
