I agree that other fights have nothing to do with the GGG vs Canelo fight but it's not just GGG fans who think he won. It the big majority of fans and the media who think GGG won. Just because it was a close fight doesn't mean everyone will just shut up and get over it if they think the wrong guy won the close fight. Most boxing fans be they GGG fans, Canelo fans or neutrals will not remain silent if they disagree with a close decision. How quiet were the guys who thought Garcia beat Porter?

You don't score fights by total punches, you score on a 10 point must system using ring generalship, effective aggression, clean punching and defense.

Maidana and Castillo could land more punches than Floyd but not win more rounds.

Everybody already knows this and the big majority scored more rounds for GGG. Yesterday a guy posted media and fan scorecards. In a poll of 1743 fans the average fan scorecard had GGG winning 116 to 113.

GGG lost and no amount of threads will change that. GGG won in the court of public opinion and cleverly putting GGG's head on Broner's body won't ever change that either. This will be remembered forever by most as another home town decision Canelo really lost.

I agree it was no robbery. Canelo is a hell of a fighter and he fought a hell of a fight. Those rounds were hard to score wars with both men landing lots of good stuff. Canelo attacked all fight. I love Canelo and GGG.

Maidana not only landed more power punches, he also bullied Floyd on the ropes. Floyd's ring generalship was non-existant.

Canelo never once put GGG against the ropes and was outpunched at a higher margin.

So my question is, how did Floyd win?

Compubox is people counting, not computers and there is a massive margin of error, like 40%-60%+.

Those aren't power punches. Compubox needs to quantify punces for their shítty human error (no computers just humans) so they used that term to count punches that aren't jabs (*sigh*)

Castillo and Maidana don't have a lot of power in the first place and their shots didn't have a powerful effect on Mayweather.

Honestly, I might retire from NSB. It's like day after day of basic day 1 ignorance thats like a toxic cloud hanging over the forums. I don't want to come here and teach kids about scoring and etc. I want to engage and get somehting out of my time being spent.
