Haymon just got 2 monster deals. To pretend he is in the same situation as before with the time buys is ridiculous. He has incentive to make better cards now.

Why not hope that this card come to fruition since it has 2 great fights and a solid opener in Davis/Mares instead of downplaying it because its Haymon?

What track record has he got for putting 3 fights like that on the same card? It's not happening so there's nothing to get excited about.

Yeah, you can split those two fights. Wilder/Fury alone would need about 350k for both guys to end up with $10+ million, but maybe Al thinks putting the other two fights gets this card up to 450-500k buys? That's the only way this would work.

Not many on his time buy cards but his SHO and Fox cards have been strong.

You can't assume his paid for cards will be the same as his time share cards. Now that he has a network deal with Fox and reupped with SHO I expect to see improvements.

Don King did put on some great ppv cards for sure. The fans got their $ worth back then on ppvs. Now you just get a bunch of showcase fights for stablemates of the headliners for a higher ppv cost. I hope this card is legit because it's a good one that I would pay for.

Closest would be Mayweather Berto card:

                Roman Martinez vs Orlando Salido
                Badou Jack vs George Groves
                Vanes Martirosyan vs Ishe Smith

No, you're upset that such a great card might be put on by Haymon. Sad.

Tell these youngins. Man king would have cards on ABC with like 4 legit title fights. I hope Haymon at least tries to copy that with PPV's with really stacked cards.

If this happens it could move me to break my rule of not paying for PPVs.
