Golovkin can cut off the ring, Lemieux can't, so he won't be able to cruise to 12 pain-free rounds with Golovkin.

While Canelo might not be the best at chasing down movers, only way Saunders could land on him would be to move into range, and while Lemieux didn't have the speed and skills to counter when Saunders dipped into range, Canelo does. Again, no way he could go 12 pain-free rounds with Canelo.

The Canelo fight could be really dull though as Saunders might dance around for 12 rounds trying to get 1 or 2 jabs home per round to 'win' the round, and that could make for a really dull fight - reason Canelo will not fight Saunders. Styles.
    Great analysis.

Yes, I was thinking why would Ggg want to fight lemieux again?
He didn't mention bjs for some reason?

Salty, sure, but what did I say that was incorrect?
Take a poll of 'North American audiences', see if you find
many people clamoring to see Saunders fight again.

Nah, Golovkin and his fans made such a big deal about
the importance of 'Mexican style' fighting, so we're not just
going to forget about it now. They were right, weren't they?
We want to watch 'Mexican style' fighters.
Nobody wants to pay hard-earned money to see 'British-style'
          boxers like Saunders.

The reason is that Saunders is a box office bore. He's a dud.

A fighter may look different when he fights other elite fighters. Doesn’t mean C class fighters can now beat them.

Pacquiao looking different vs JMM and Mayweather, didn’t mean he can no longer steamroll a Matthysse like opponent.

Lemiuex would still get steamrolled, especially if he comes in with the false confidence of GGG being different.

No, Lemi... GGG has a jab...the only weapon needed to nullify you as you’ve zero idea how to work around it

I thought it was Ricky Martin's brother who tko'd him??? Nahh Spike was done. He was stumbling around the ring when he got up. His legs were still wobbly 5 minutes later. I did notice a HUGE size difference. He took a LHW's best punch flush as can be and was coming in. He was done. Good job by ref.

God that would be a terribly boring fight. I would have to flip a coin if I wanted to see that fight or rewatch Lara/Canelo again. It would be another VERY low punch output and Saunders would have a terrible connect % like Lara did.
