So what's next for Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (50-1-2, 34 KOs) in the wake of his twelve round majority decision over Gennady Golovkin this past weekend at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas?

Why would he kill his momentum and fight Lemieux?

Not a bad fight if it's on free HBO or ESPN. I got a feeling it'll be a ppv though....
Canelo just went to war so he deserves a soft match.... David can crack but that's about it.
I got Canelo stopping David by the 8th round..

From this point on who ever he fights is pretty much an event.

Heck yeah that'll be dope if Canelo fought 12/15... Charlo would be my first choice and that's a no doubt ppv fight. Or he can have a scrap with lemieux, sulecki, hurd, and maybe even culcay if he wins his fight... Lara would also make sense. The rest of the mw top dogs are busy and likely won't be available for that date.

Not excited for a David L fight, but I'm assuming thats what we will be getting.

So... we're not going to acknowledge that Jermall Charlo is owed a fight for the WBC title next? Ok, lol.
