Canelo has fought Triple G his last two fights, the boogeyman of the middleweight division. If he wants to fight Lemieux, so be it. Don’t give the Canadian anything more than a punchers chance but hes a big middleweight witch might make things interesting

C'mon. he just fought GGG back to back. Lemieux is a top 10 middleweight, a former champion, coming off an impressive ko. There is nothing wrong with this fight.

If Canelo wants a stay busy fight with lemieux or another top 8-25 middleweight type guy he deserves it. He just fought GGG the so called boogyman back to back for phuk sake. You got guys older with no where the resume consistently fighting nothing but guys worse then lemieux. Fighting GGG twice then another top dog in December makes zero sense. So if he comes back so quickly for December it won't be for a grueling fight. My guess is the cut won't allow a quick turnaround anyway why risk it opening up and compromising you for the real payday fight in May. Scrap Dec chill out and whoop GGG again in May taking even more of the lion share money now that you already whooped him Mexican style and took all his belts. If not GGG chill and wait for the next boogyman to separate themselves from the pack and fight them in May.

He isn't even 30 yet and he's already fought GGG, Floyd, Cotto, Mosley, Trout, Chavez, Lara. And GGG was twice back to back. Oscar, Floyd, Manny none of them fought top risky fights every time back to back to back. They all had some stay busy fights in between. Lemieux is #7 ranked by boxrec and #7 ranked by ESPN, and #7 ranked by Ring magazine. Lemieux ain't elite but he's in everybody top 10. If it's Dec it's a showcase and well deserved.

Has he been ordered a mandatory? And if he has to fight a mandatory why it has to be December. Doesn't matter if he only fought once this year the issue is the quick turnaround to make a dec fight (less then 3 months away) he would have to be back in training camp in 1 month with a healing cut coming off a grueling fight. If you want a 3rd back to back war like fight it's going to be May not December it's that simple. Either a showcase in Dec before his may fight or no fight go straight to may. Stop being greedy dude gave you 2 GGG fights. Let's say he fights a mandatory on short rest and reopens the cut and then can't fight in May or is compromised for the real big fight? It would be ****** for what just to say hey I finally crossed fighting in MSG off my bucket list. lol

Canelo has proven he wont duck anybody but he doesn't have to fight them all back to back to back even on short rest. Nobody else is doing that.
