Would judges be better off watching a fight on a monitor backstage?

You often see the judges ringside leaning over or trying to get a better view of the action through the ropes because they are not above where they'd be able to see everything going .

Also, you cant beat being at a fight live for the excitement but watching it on TV gives you a much better close up view of the action and better view of every punch thrown.

Imo, judges should also score a round and then hand in that score after every round and not have a tally of their score in front of them to see. That would curb any crying of someone giving a round late to get their guy back in the fight because they know the total score they have right in front of them.
Heres one I thought of: have six judges per a fight, have each set of 3 alternate rounds, so they can look at the rounds carefully for another round. Anything to make the scoring more fair this way...I mean you could have 9 judges or 12 one per a round, whatever, the point being the judges can look carefully at the rounds, and even have a period after the fight where any contraversal rounds, very close can be rescored by all six... and the decision comes in a half hour.

      you get the idea.

Yeah I thought about that. I'm not sure lol. Any mic setup would get washed out from crowd noise..

Everyone has a favorite fighter. So that must mean everyone but Mayweather fans complained about judging at some point.

Bad judging is an epidemic in boxing and they haven't changed anything despite numerous outrageous scorecards in recent years.

With the technology we have now, theres no reason a more practical way of scoring cant be available.

3 people sitting ringside apparently seeing 3 different fights play out the majority of the time is not acceptable anymore.

If you have a 117-111 card and a 114-114 card and another for the other fighter 115-113 how can that be possible..and it's happened I'm sure..

This would be interesting. But do it for all fights.

There are lots of deserving fighters on their way up that have run into the "Next Great Thing" in boxing and got screwed over. Its not just the top fighters.

That's human nature but it doesn't change the fact that some of these decisions are horrendous.
