A loss is a loss whether its a decision or ko. You know your not gonna win a decision so might as well go for broke.

He hit Canelo with some absolute bombs and Canelo took them. Should he have come out swinging like Wilder ? He fought like he always does behind the jab and he landed great shots. Canelo is just a great fighter also and he obviously has a great chin

Yeah we didnt see GGG snapping Canelos head back with stiff jabs all night. We didnt see him catching tons of canelos punches or making him miss completely by moving his feet. We didnt see him landing uppercuts . We didnt see him have canelo buzzed. We didnt see any of it. We were all mislead by HBO commentary and led to believe he did those things when he never really did.

He landed numerous uppercuts and he landed good right hands.
Not sure what fight you watched exactly but you may wanna just watch the 12th round again where he landed about 3 head snapping uppercuts alone.

Golden boy is now the new Don king . To beat one of his fighter you got to knock them out. Period. The scoring was just agregious. Just look at his mothers face. She alone tell the story and listen to HBO analyst and harold lederman unofficial score cart . After the winner was announce they simply did a 360.
One more thing, the whole arena knew he loss.. the place was silent and astonished at the same time if that is possible.
It just a shame for the sport when a hall of Famer in his final analysis has to say to us to follow the money as an explanation. Just another sad day for boxing.

Look at Linares vs Lomachenko. Linares was getting killed before the knockdown. He probably won 2 rounds AT BEST before the knock down. He was getting beat so bad in round 6 that even with the knockdown it should have been scored 9-8 for that round.

But when you look at the score cards at the time of stoppage the cards were even. How the hell?

If lomachenko didnt get the KO I would bet he loses the fight. Same kind of fight as GGG. Difference is though Loma didnt neglect the body.

Obviously canelo has much more representation within the crowd. Kinda makes you wonder if they gave it to him just to avoid the crowd getting upset and possibly rowdy.
