How would anybody be jaded? We don't all have to agree, but let's discuss. I would like to see GGG take more risk in the first fight, I wanted to see canelo try at least to put more pressure on ggg who was on the back foot to try to get a knock down in the second fight . I wanted to see more risk involved for a fight of this magnitude. It was too eventually matched top level boxers who didn't want to take the risk. They both boxed smart. I don't know what ggg was thinking fighting on the outside. It was not better than Trinidad vs Hopkins at all.

Dude you just said it. What fight in the past 20 years have you seen two top level fighters go toe to toe with out a knockdown??? Never. They both were fighting safe. This fight was not better than Trinidad vs Hopkins or Delahoya vs Vargas or Vargas vs Trinidad or mosley vs Margarito. This was a ok fight and nothing more. Hey man if your happy with giving away $85 then that's you.

I also thought it was pretty "dull". Yes, both guys came forward for the most part and fought but it was so evenly matched that it kinda take away from the fight. Every time they would exchange, it was short and the blows from the exchanges didnt really do much.

I will re watch the fight this week sober to see if my opinion changes at all, but I am surprised at how many people thought the fight was amazing/ foty lol. If that is how they feel then hey that's fine by me, better for the sport.
Thanks for your comment. I tried to re watch it sober and I am not going to lie I kinda zoned out. It got repetitive. Looking forward to your comment. That first fight was boring.

Fight will go down amongst the most competitive 160lbs fights of all-time.
These 2 mofoz were made for eachother & made great coin together.

Time for them to change up an opponent or 2 then do it again fugg it.

There were a ton of good shots landed by both parties, it's just that neither guy went down.
You gotta remember, boxing is entertainment. It's a reason why we pay to watch it. As far as the purist form of boxing like Floyd Mayweather or Lomochecko this fight wasn't it ever. I am just saying to me it was ok. I felt somebody should had taken control of the fight at one stand point. I felt like both fighters were on auto pilot. Good punches don't mean anything if they are not effective. That is not a watchable fight because you know those punches can't hurt the opponent . It's like superman vs bizzaro it doesn't matter if they are throwing Haymakers it's too evenly matched. There's no edge to it. Like ggg always says big drama show, big drams show. That fight was like wow nothing really happen in 40 mins.

Now that I've seen the fight, I think the second was better and closer than the first. This revealed two things about the first fight which was it wasn't that great of a fight, and that it wasn't as close as a draw. I thought the second fight was a draw which is why there should be a third fight. My gripe with the third fight is the same as the Mayweather vs Pacquiao rematch - the elevated price. I paid it to see the first fight, and I'm not sure I ever will again! I will buy instead those fights that are a bargain at regular price.

Oh mate, I wasn't judging at all. It happens to me as well when I watch a good fight between two guys I don't reallly care about. It could be a big war or a great tactical fight and I'm like 'ehhh wish it was more exciting.'

I'm vested in both guys, thus had a terrific time watching that fight.
