Absolutely not. I think the judges gave Canelo the benefit of the doubt more than they did for Golovkin. It was a close fight but I thought GGG won it. But you have to give Canelo a lot of credit for both fights with Golovkin...I mean, he showed he's a damn good fighter and tough as nails.

But that's the thing though. Fighters get the benefit of the doubt because they did better than people thought. Canelo did not have to prove anything. He is a Special Talent and has been handled VERY well.

But to get a decision because you did better than people thought you would do is not right.

I had GGG winning. But I can see the argument for Canelo if you give him EVERY Close round. I can see the draw as well. But just because Canelo went 12 twice does not mean he did enough to win. 1 Scorecard for GGG out of 6 when Canelo was out landed punch count wise in 18 out of 24 Rounds is what is wrong with the sport.

He was painting canelo as a runner and when canelo did not move, it means he is doing better than expected and judges and people alike always give more credit on scoring when a fighter does better than expected
