Canelo won that round. GGG started off well but Canelo won the last 2 minutes and landed the better punches.

This. GGG controlled the first 2 minutes of the rd. Landed the bigger power punches and it showed with canelo's head snapping back. Landed many clean jabs. Yet, somehow canelo won the rd. I guess body punches count when they hit the hips, gloves, and elbows if your name is canelo.

And they were quality power punches to boot.

Good round. But it’s not up to debate imo.
You clearly missed the uppercuts and straight right hands that landed on canelo.

GGG landed the harder, better shots and closed the round strong. He won the 12th in my opinion.

very close round, I gave it to Canelo mostly because I almost never score a round even. On my card Canelo needed a KO in the 12th to win.

                115-113 Golovkin

First night I saw it I thought Canelo.

Watched the fight again and thought GGG because he landed big shots early.

I watched it a 3rd time a noticed that Canelo dominated the last half and hurt Golovkin 3 times to the body, the last 1:10 Canelo lands a right hand to the body and it makes GGG retreat faster then he has at any point in the fight. Canelo shakes his hands at him like "Come on" they trade again the Canelo beats up the body again and GGG goes back again. The third body shot to hurt him was a left to the body and it hurt GGG the worst, he pulled back a right hand he wanted to throw to protect the body. It's definitely a swing round but Canelo did best imo. I think Abel saw it also that's why he said GGG gave away the 12th.

Watch the last 1:10 of the round, look at the body work and look at what GGG does after those big shots.
