But weren't the casuals disappointed by the fight since some of them didn't know beforehand how it would go? They expected something different and got way disappointed. I would imagine many of those would not buy the rematch

LOL I think that happens with like 75% of boxing PPV's. I've been watching some Youtube vids on the postfight stuff for Canelo vs GGG II & I've seen "I'll never buy a boxing PPV again" more times then you'd probably think in the comments.

But then again, like you said, Floyd sells, that is true.

Three years ago, these two took us for $100 and delivered a crap fight. With Mayweather now 41 years old and Pacquiao 39, how much better could a rematch be?

You might not pay for it but i bet anything it'd be the biggest PPV of the year by a distance and that's all that matters.

People can talk about Canelo, AJ as popular fighters etc..but put Floyd and Manny together and it's still the biggest thing in boxing by a mile.

The 2 best fighters of their generation fighting for the second time, I don’t care who wins, I will watch it and people could say what they want but so far, the Mayweather vs Pac fight is still the biggest fight of all time and there’s no doubt the rematch would generate more money than any big fights out there.

Fans here and anywhere else can say all day they won’t watch or buy it. If that fight gets made and as it gets closer to fight time, there will be plenty of fans, people, celebrities, entertainers, business people, etc, to lay money down for it to be the highest generated fight in 2018 OR 2019 if it happens in December.

Get that regular WBA and elevate to super WBA, now that Thurman is in the bench for whatever 18 to 19 month and this fight get a little more valuable.

1. Floyd did not really school Manny around at all.
2. I don't see any round that he cleanly hit Manny.
3. All he did is back peddling and hugged Manny to death.

Please tell me which round of the fight Floyd really punches Manny's head off or cleanly hit Manny? NONE.

Lastly. He Floyd even failed to abuse the one handed fighter Manny in the ring LOL.

Don't celebrate your wins as if Floyd did school Manny around cause he did not. You know what happened right there, but it's all good. If I'm the Mayweather fan, I would not be celebrating to death about that kind of win cause it's funny to see someone running away from the one handed opponent all night. LOL.
