Triangle theory doesnt really work in boxing though. The fact that Golovkin is taller heavier and bigger than Mayweather, more so than young Canelo, and that Jab of GGG is so good, while the jab is Mayweathers only weakness, as he showed against Oscar, i think Golovkin would've been far more dangerous than Canelo for Floyd. Saying that, i thought Golovkin won both fights with Canelo, not by much.Comment

And for the record, Jermain Taylor and Hopkins were about the same size, in the same division at Middleweight. Hopkins was 6-1 and Taylor was just an inch shorter at 5-11. Please brush up on your boxing knowledge. Thanks!Comment

I hope this fight finally shatters the myth of Big Bear and training at high altitude.
Admit Big Bear is a bunch of Big Shit or give Canelo's body shots some credit.Comment

Mayweather would have definitely out boxed GGG IF he fought him the year he fought Canelo. Because his reflexes and defense were superb. And that was a perfect game plan against a younger and stronger Canelo. And Mayweather has a pretty good chin too. A lot of people under rate his ability to absorb shots and roll with them to lesson the impact and damage. I strongly believe Mayweather would have avoided GGG’s telegraphed shots. And Floyd always had his team watch film to help him take away his opponents strengths. No way GGG beats him. Even people that hate Floyd have to admit that and I’m not a Floyd fan. He was just a master boxer and defensive genius. And at a catch weight of 155, that’s strongly favors Floyd, not GGG. Now, it would have been a boring ass fight but I was hoping he would step up to that challenge like Leonard did for Hagler. Boxing experts would have favored Floyd too. GGG has NO special effects. Easy to game plan against.Comment

Canelo has a hell of a chin but cause he survived doesn’t mean he should of got the nod. I don’t know where this Golovkin got tired mess is coming from the man was clearly dominating the last 4 rounds up until the last minute of the fight.Comment

BHOP is spot on in his analysis. Canelo was right in front of GGG to be hit. But Canelo was confident that he could absorb those shots, that he had the faster hands, that he could put GGG on the defense, and that he could beat GGG to the punch. Doesn’t mean people can’t say GGG won or it was a draw. It’s about strategy and persuading the judges in their scoring. Like his team said, Canelo would throw more punches this fight but so did GGG. The difference was the optics with the judges. Canelo persuaded the judges this time by being right in front of GGG, throwing 46 shots to the body, firing off at GGG’s Head, and showing toughness through eating GGG’s shots. He didn’t need to fight a perfect fight, just one that was efficient enough to have the judges lean his way & see it his way.Comment
