There is a reason for that though. It's not like there is a line of people knocking on his door for a fight. He moved up and faced the top 2 ranked guys for GGG's title (yeah they were weak but good enough to get a shot a GGG). He goes into both fights with advantages, we just need to see how he reacts to getting hit by a big middleweight.

when you're that much of a cash cow, holding multiple belts isn't really a big deal i think. it never bothered Floyd.

Even Hearn said of AJ that he wants all the belts but he'd drop one if it made business sense with no option i.e getting stripped to fight a bigger money fight.

Having a wbc belt now isn't gonna define Canelo's career, he's just gonna do what makes sense for business.
He also may be leaving HBO so who knows what will happen until that is sorted out.

Not saying there isn't a reason. He's a huge risk, for sure. But I'm calling a spade a spade. Charlo hasn't fought an A level guy yet, and because of that I'd favor GGG

GGG won't be far off 37 when he next gets in the ring. Eventually he will have to make way for the younger guys in the division. I wouldn't predict that the time is just yet though.

Charlo hasn't faced anyone like GGG/Canelo or even the guys they have faced have. Charlo looks the goods, but I'd need to see him in the ring with a good MW before making any predictions.

I think Canelo would beat him, and I think the shots GGG landed on Canelo last night would stop Charlo.

Last night's fight took a toll on GGG both mentally and physically. I could see him not being able to withstand one of Charlo's best shots at this point.

Lara is probably the closest to those guys in terms of skill, and he trains with him. Both guys have great chins but are both there to be hit. Jonestly I'm not sure either, but I would put money on Charlo depending on the odds.

              He is younger
              Bigger reach and height
GGG has just been in a tough fight who knows what that took out of him.
              He is older now too.

Charlo can take away a few things for the Canelo, Jacobs, and even the Brook fight. It all comes down to what happens when he gets hit.

Charlo needs to fight BJS. If he pass the eye test he can fight GGG.

Charlo stops a 36 year old GGG

Jermall is VERY DANGEROUS, he is a rare combination of Size, Speed and Power that you don't see very often, also with one of the best Jabs in boxing, a Jab that does DAMAGE

I think he is going to have a very hard time getting a shot at the Top Fighters at 160 which will be unfortunate and disappointing. Even moving up he STILL looks Massive for a Middleweight!

charlo isn't near as slick as canelo is.
