    Jermall Charlo vs. Gennady Golovkin.

Based on what we saw last night, could Charlo beat Golovkin?

How would you even be able to tell, Charlo has fought nobody close to GGG level.

I don't think Charlo would have beat either guy from last night

Very dangerous fight for GGG at his age. Charlo is another guy that throws mean shots that will make anyone tentative.

GGG is 36 and is slowly showing. I would probavly favor the younger hungrier Charlo at this point.

Tough to say since his recent fights have end so quickly. He does spar Lara so he is getting good rounds in with a boxer. He has a good strong jab that he has dropped opponents with. GGG had a lot of success using it against Canelo. Charlo has power too, so if he goes to the body like Canelo did maybe he could back GGG up. He is also taller and has longer reach than both (2 inches)

We just need to see if he can take it as much as he can give it, and we may never know cause will HBO risk one of their cash cows losing to a Haymon fighter? I wonder what the WBC will do next especially if Canelo says he is coming back in Dec. and Charlo is supposed to fight again this year. They could do that fight in Texas and it would be huge.

i'd imagine it'll be Canelo v Lemieux in december, if he does fight then.

Would he have to Vacate the WBC belt though?

Although Charlo is untested, especially at 160. I think that he takes it. Those wars with Canelo, his age, and his style of fighting have caught up to him.

I'd favor GGG. Charlo hasn't fought anyone on that level yet

Dunno, but he's had no problem vacating before.

when you're that much of a cash cow, holding multiple belts isn't really a big deal i think. it never bothered Floyd.

Even Hearn said of AJ that he wants all the belts but he'd drop one if it made business sense with no option i.e getting stripped to fight a bigger money fight.

Having a wbc belt now isn't gonna define Canelo's career, he's just gonna do what makes sense for business.
