2 fights in a row where fans keep saying this after GGG is scared as phuk to go to the body! No more excuses his trainer preaches Mexican style and non stop body attack. GGG has been a monster body attacker his career. He didn't just forget what a body punch is and didn't do it twice. There is a price to pay against a vicious counterpuncher if you commit to the body. GGG don't want to take those risks, more punishment. If he does it's more likely it's him getting knocked out not canelo. No more excuses Canelo is just better. Whooped GGG on the back foot and now whooped GGG on the front foot. 2 fights GGG can't adjust, can't land anything but jabs. 2 fights canelo landing the bigger cleaner shots. 2 fights the ko monster is outlanded in power shots. 2 fights GGG afraid to go to the body. 2 fights where GGG face looks worse after the fight. Can't use running excuse when you get stalked and backed up from canelo either. A third fight will be even worse maybe even knocked out. remember even able told him he losing he has no answers for canelo speed and versatility. Canelo does whatever he wants fought a style that was GGG advantage to shut him up and still won.all GGG has is excuses for what he can't and won't do.

You are right. If he can't make the proper adjustments then he should just retire before gets seriously hurt in the ring.

Let's face the facts and the truth. While it was a very close and razor thin decision win for Alvarez, GGG took a real beating in that ring last night and his skills have obviously corroded and are deteriorating.

However, I still believed he did come on in the later rounds to hurt Canelo to make it a closer fight than it was but it wasn't enough on the three judges scorecards. They had Alvarez ahead by the same score, 87-84, on all three scorecards through nine rounds.

At least from my observation, this was a close fight which could have gone either way but GGG is obviously slowing down with age. He abandoned the body completely and was exclusively head hunting while throwing just single punches at a time; Mostly jabs.

While on the other hand, Canelo was throwing combination punches in bunches and landed the cleaner, flashier and harder power punches while forcing Golovkin to fight off the back foot in the process.

While I still thought GGG had done enough to win; Yet he was still getting hit with too many clean flush power punches to the head. Therefore, I can see how two of the three judges scored it for Canelo. He was the one coming forward, throwing combination punches and being the aggressor for most of the night.

Lastly, had Golovkin gone more to the body, I believe he would have stopped Canelo by scoring the knock out victory. With the proper adjustments, I believe GGG could win a rubber match convincingly.
Agreed. Just some observations: Incredible body work by Canelo. He was impressing with the crispness of his shots and combinations. His defense was very nice at certain points, too. When he was hurt and losing steam late in the fight, Alvarez put on a show of great elusiveness. I was impressed. That was the only time in the fight Canelo wasn’t the clear aggressor. GGG seemed to show his age last night. He just seemed sluggish for most of the fight, and was sucking air until he finally caught his second wind late. Close fight that could’ve gone either way, but Golovkin might’ve gotten old last night. A third meeting might not be so close.

You didn't see Canelo get rocked twice?
Look I picked Canelo to win. But c'mon. Did you see espn? They are saying because he backed up. Matter of fact max on HBO said it on broadcast last night.
People here are also saying it.

I just haven't seen anyone myself say that. I couldn't hear Max talking tbh. My place was loud.

What defence? Block every Canelo's punch with his face?
