No point. I mean what can GGG do differently to win.

I had it 114 - 114 but I have no gripe with Canelo getting the nod. He took the fight to GGG which nobody expected. It was like a role reversal of the first one. The best performance of Canelo's career and I thought overall GGG was disappointing. Rarely did he follow up successes and his body work was almost non existent just like last time. He looked limited. Bring on a 3rd fight but I reckon Clean-elo has his number.

Charlo is the WBC interim champion.

Canelo vs Charlo will be ordered soon by WBC.

I actually thought both fights were very close and could've gone either way. If I had to give the nod to a winner, I had GGG winning the first fight, and Canelo winning the second. I would love to see a third fight. Side Note: Harold Lederman is terrible at scoring fights (so is his daughter). HBO may wanna think about replacing him as "unofficial scorer". It seems as though he never gets it right.

No it won't. The WBC knows who brings them money and will make Charlo wait or fight eliminators.

I'm not mad at the result but more the system. Golovkin won the first fight and probably a draw would have been the right result this time.

Golovkin is in a tough place regards lining up fights. With no belts Saunders and other pretenders and even Jacobs will not be interested. I think only Charlo would feel confident that he could use GGG as a stepping stone by getting a scalp. The trilogy makes sense financially but is pointless in Vegas, yet that is where there is more money.

Don't forget, the nature of the fights to date means another Golovkin outing is also Canelo's best payday too. As for all the beyatching, that was all lightweight, money rules the day.

Canelo would make half as much fighting the likes of Jacobs, and that wouldn't be a low risk fight or him, neither would Charlo.

There is no way he will fight Saunders, too likely be a stinker (styles). Golovkin again when he's yet another year older ? Big money - trilogy is on.

For Golovkin its cash-out time, one more Canelo outing and gone. He's too old to try rebuilding through other channels.

He might go Saunders to try retire with a belt if he can't get the deal he wants from the Canelo side - same mechanism as last time - sign Saunders until DLH makes sure another Canelo fight happens.
