No one won CLEARLY. It was a close fight either way.

Regardless of who you scored it for, Canelo or Golovkin.

I can make a cases for either one of them deserving the victory. And even for a draw.

But no one was the CLEAR winner as some of the posters keep trying to insinuate.

As someone who despises canelo for his drug use

    He won the fight

If this was an amateur fight, you would give it ggg due to his jabs but the defect punching came from canelo

Ring gen was all canelo too

I have no problem with 115-113 Canelo. But some rounds were so close that 115-113 Golovkin is acceptable too.

There's no clear winner when you have a draw-ish type of fight like this one.

People were so polarized by these two that they were going to exaggerate no matter what happened. If the judges happened to have picked GG then you'd hear about how Canelo gassed, etc, etc.

The sooner people accept this the better.

GGG didn't do enough to earn a clear victory. He only has himself to blame.

GGG hurt himself with this game plan ,he fought good with nice jab and defense but they surely knew that if Canelo will press all night ,they are not winning in Vegas.

            Abel Sanchez was GGG downfall.

I Agree with you on this one.
Could of gone either way imo.
GGG knew though if it went to the judges he had to dominate which is sad to say.
I do think Canelo was closer to be putting down than either guy.
Props to Nelo. When G had him hurt in the 9th or 10th he expertly dodged the incoming fire to remain.
Both are great fighters and this should be FOTY.

obviously im a huge ggg fan but when it comes to scoring i try and be as objective as possible and i just cant see how canelo won 7 rounds. he fought a very good fight though and showed a lot of heart and determination but he lost too many of the later rounds. i didnt think there was many toss up rounds either, canelo won 3 rounds very clearly and there was 2 that were toss up rounds.

Close is bullshit. 1 point might as well be 12 points.

Canelo fought very well. It was a hell of a fight. BUT GGG did not deserve to lose his titles.
