Similar situation was between GGG and Derevyanchenko. Tom Loeffler has explained well:

“If it’s a mandatory, you need to promote that fight properly, you can’t promote it on three weeks’ notice,”

“I think Derevyanchenko has gotten more publicity over the last week or 10 days than he has ever in his career, just being linked as Triple-G’s mandatory, so if there’s a way to build a fight like that, that makes sense for both sides, that would be the most prudent way to do it, instead of forcing both guys to take extremely short [amounts] on their financial side to rush a fight like this, when a fight can actually be built into another big fight".

GGG was a champion for a long time. That is enough.

In fact I don't care about titles of GGG now. Why should I care when GGG himself doesn't care ? If he wanted only titles he would have fought Derevyanchenko on may 5.

Moreover, earlier when GGG was stripped of the IBF belt I said that GGG should vacate other belts too, because then we can watch interesting fights like Jacobs vs Derevyanchenko. In that case belts won't be taken hostage.

Now if Canelo fights Charlo it will be great for fans. But I doubt. He will vacate. Charlo will beat someone to be the WBC champion. Canelo vs Charlo will be marinated at least 2-3 years to do it a very big money fight just like it was with GGG.

THIS.....I've been feeling the same way. Whether it's a step up in the class of fighters the last few fights the GGG running roughshod over the middleweight division is no more. These two fights took a lot out of GGG despite his vibranium chin. The body work was exquisite by Canelo yet GGG fought on valiantly despite appearing fatigued less than halfway thru the fight. This was an excellent taxing fight that I felt he won but came up short on the scorecards. The blueprint for success vs GGG has been established and having faster hands a good chin and a willingness to fight back and not get bullied will bode well for you vs GGG. The aura of invincibility has been smashed and I don't think he will fight much longer if he doesn't want to tarnish his legacy substantially.

the blueprint was set by Canelo in the FIRST fight

and that blueprint was no secret

THAT..... is why Golovkin avoided mover/spoilers

I think so. He wanted only Canelo, he wanted only money. But it is annoying. Instead of two canelo fights he could fight Saunders, Charlo, Andrade, Derevyanchenko. But he chose Canelo (money).

I think GGG didn't fight Derevyanchenko, because after Derevyanchenko fight it might be very difficult to recover (heal). He might be not ready for september 15th for canelo. In his mind there was only canelo, i.e. only money.

He rejected Saunders fight twice because of canelo. It is fact.

I don't know about meaningful fights. But he will keep begging for money, he will go after Canelo.

Right now belts mean nothing for him compared to money. Even if canelo vacates all the belts, he will go after canelo.

                  nope, Golovkin selected Vanes

who is not exactly a cash cow

were you somehow hoping that I would forget about Vanes ?

Team Bullshht are all about risk/reward, and always have been

they also passed on Cotto, which was ludicrous..... so they are more focused on risk than reward..... which again, is why they selected Vanes

and don't talk rubbish about Saunders..... they passed on Saunders to fight VANES lol

like I said, risk/reward..... but more about risk

Team Easy Way Out..... have not been honest with their naive fanbase

there is no " go after "

he will " politely request "

most likely on his knee's, with his mouth wide open

You have understanding problems. Vanes was an easy fight to be ready for Canelo on september 15.

If he had fought a top boxer on may 5 or in june, then it could be very hard to be ready for Canelo on 15th september. He might miss the canelo fight. He wanted big payday (canelo).
