That's a robbery, in my opinion, so we disagree.

I don't think you can properly find 7 rounds to Canelo.

Definitely disagree. I bet if you asked most of these cats who got it 2pts or less apart if they could find 1 or 2 close rds they coulda gave to Canelo they'd say yes. I don't believe you can score a fight 7-5 & it not be within a disputable margin of error MOST of the time. One of the things that drive me crazy are mfers who act like 7-5 is "clearly" winning. 7-5 is one rd from a draw.

I bout lost my mind a couple yrs back when Bradley beat JMM in what some mfers claim was the widest 7-5 decision in the history of boxing lmfao. Cats had me tilted so bad on that sh^t.

Bottom line to me is the scoring of boxing isn't ideal & maybe if it was more ideal the guys who people think "clearly" did whatever would win more fights & more clearly, but when its 10-9 to the winner close rds can make some sh^t happen that people love to b^tch & cry about & threaten to not watch boxing because of.

Ask GGG if he won. Hell ask everyone. You gotta take a title from the champ and that didn't happen. Stay in denial all you want. I'm over it. I can respect Canelo for fighting the way he did but he got worked again and was hurt at least 3 times in the fight. GGG may have been hurt once by a body shot. F@ck Oscar, Hopkins and all of Golden Girl. Only Canelo can win 1 round vs. Floyd when he was taking a breather and get a draw on one card. That should tell everyone something. This was boxing politics. Canelo got a draw vs. Floyd on one card because a MD loss looks a lot better on a fighters ledger than a UD loss. The only way GGG would beat him was to ko him and that wasn't that easy to do. I mean the kid is 8 years younger and his reflexes are still super sharp.

See unlike others *****ing about the fight who 95% *****ing here didn’t even see the fight, I did and in a movie theatre. It was an EXTREMELY CLOSE fight which could have gone either way. This had nothing to do with boxing politics. GGG lost fair and square in an extremely close fight. Canelo landed much harder and cleaner shots. The myth of the boogie man ended last night with Canelo murdering his face. It’s a shame we’ve got butt hurt prepubescent cry babies here but fight is over and the better man won. I’ll say it again, 95% of the whining *****es here didn’t even see a single round of this fight. That’s a guarantee

Alot of people cant stand the fact that ggg got beat by Alvarez just like they couldn't stand it when Marquez koed pac or Ward beat Kovalev or storm koing Kovalev. That includes websites like this one and so called "sports writers" especially from the U.S and Europe their scores reflect their delusions and hopes not reality.

Well robbery might be one of the most overused terms in boxing so while idk if there are NEVER robberies, but there are much less of them then people cry about. Close fights can go either way. Thats just the reality like it or not.

I can understand people being cynical cuz the money guy wins more of these fights than the non-money guy & f#ck I can be pretty cynical about that angle myself, but I know how I scored it (7-5 GGG my f#cking self) & I know there were probably 4 or 5 rds I had a tough time nailing down to one guy so to me GGG or Canelo needed to win the other 7-8 rds CLEARLY for real to win the fight outside of the margin of error. And neither guy did. Hence this fight isn't a robbery.

LOL who cares what Bud scored it. Khan & Caleb Truax had Canelo winning. Like I said earlier boxers are some of the worst scorers ever & most of the time they don't reallllly even score the fight.

Back when Tevin Farmer had that "robbery" with that PED'd up Japanese or w/e Asian cat Claressa Shields was all like "ROBBERY" all night. Then she scored the fight rbr a day or two later & was giving rds left & right to the PED'd up Japanese dude & said Farmer for sure lost.

Make what you will of that, but I don't think half these fighters are sitting down & scoring fights like that. They are watching it & thinking this guy or that guy is winning w/o thinking of it as a fight in 12 parts. Or thats what I usually see anyway. So I don't take boxers opinions very seriously at all on who won unless I see them scoring a fight like fights are supposed to be scored.

Already handled this elsewhere. I don't care what the majority of media scored the fight for. I see how they scored it & it seems like almost all of them had it 7-5 GGG or less like I did & I know I had trouble giving some rds to either guy thus I'd bet that these cats did to thus the story these cards are telling isn't that GGG DESERVED to win only that most people felt he won a close fight. The close fight angle is the most important part of that. Close fights with 4 or 5 disputable rds CAN GO EITHER WAY. Thats just how the scoring of boxing works.

the thing is that when most of this "close" fights (the majority) end up going to the same way we have to stop talking about "close" fights. the house never loses, lets not forget this is the guy (canelo) that got 10 out of 12 rounds in the first one (and also a draw vs floyd when he lost every single round)
