You can't win a decision against, Canelo, folks! Need a knockdown or two to even the cards.

But it seems like Canelo's power punches & aggressive for virtually the whole fight won the night.
I think his cash cow status won the fight for him IMO, lol at the 12th round on judges cards to flip it.

Overall in my book with that GGG vs Nelo rivalry,
Nelo got 2 lil gifts and got caught for PEDs in btw.
I would be pissed off if I was triple.

I had it a draw and gave Canelo the last two rounds. He also won 4 of the first 5 imo.

He hurt Canelo at least 3 times and was shellacking him with jabs. Canelo did land some good body shots and surprised me by standing toe to toe, but he just got out worked and out landed. Again.
canelo didnt win 7 rounds, it just didnt happen

It was real give and take for most of the fight. I was having too much fun to actually score it, but it felt like a pretty even fight.
Yeah see i'm not just about glancing blows, that's kind of a rabbit hole I feel. Yeah it's what folks remember but I like scoring the fight based on the body of work in each round. I'll be rewatching the fight for sure and I could very well be wrong about the 9th upon rewatching. Either way it was a hellacious fight. Don't think either man will be the same after that brutality. Canelo's eye worries me for his future. That gash was pretty sick.

Before fight: Mexican style doe, he ran doe, big drama show doe, he fake doe, corruption doe, he cheated doe, he dirty doe, needle marks doe, he clown doe, fight like a man doe, toe to toe doe.

After fight: Runs to dressing room in shame.

Canelo beat the living **** out of Gaylovkin and sent him and you fools crying to the showers.

I know we’ve argued before, but I agree with you on this. I had Gee up 7-5. I’m on record saying Nelo will get all sorts of credit if he just stood up to Gee a bit more. Gee’s biggest opponent is his reputation. Anytime he doesn’t beatdown an opponent it makes him look bad. No 36yr old Kazak is going to hold the screw against the 28yr old superstar from Mexico. Ali v Norton anyone?
