Dont recall Golovkin against the ropes one time. Canelo applied preasure no doubt, but tasted alot of jabs and GGG neutralized his strategy most of the fight.

Canelo walked GGG down. But he was being jabbed to death while landing his body shots. You can edge those rounds to him but once GGG started to vary his shots and go to the body as well it was hard to see Canelo rounds. Maybe Golovkin didn't win tonight but I don't see him as a loser either. He didn't get the rub of the green in both fights.

Hey, I got a great idea. If Mayweather really wants a 9 figure payday, have a rematch with Canelo instead of Manny. ALL of us would pay for that one. Good Night!!!

You mean most European outlets have ggg winning by a round.

Close fight something like Thurman -Porter; Canelo did enough to win.

Both Canelo - GGG fights were good and action packed.

What i saw was canelo clearly hurt in at keast 3 later rounds and golovkin taking over the fight.
I nver said canelo ran in the 1st fight at all so thats a mute argument....in fact i think canelo looked better in the 1st fight by him countering golovkin....this fight canelo was eating punches all night by his coming forward aggression and thats why he sustained a huge cut......it was it is and canelo did well but he lost this fight but got the nod.
Great fight to watch and i see a third and final fight

Canelo will not give Crykin a rematch

he should have showed some class and shut his big mouth

I bet he gets a big red middle finger

The scary thing though is this guy is long in the tooth and very obvious that his decline is heavy and he still goes life or death with the biggest name in the sport. He should his head up high regardless of the loss. Scary to think if these two met at the same age.
I’ve always thought the way to fight GGG was the way Canelo fought tonight. Because I didn’t think GGG could fight going backwards. I was wrong. GGG fought very well. But it was unnatural for him and he got very tired. And personally, I think that’s what kept Canelo upright in the final rounds. Because he was tired when GGG caught his second win.

Gennady showed much better defense than we've seen in however long, yet because Saul was applying pressure, he gets the nod. I saw Ggg land a lot of shots and not just jabs. Just because he bruises easier doesn't mean ****.
Let me get this straight. So the fighter who backs up is the aggressor and the fighter who comes forward is not. Now that's interesting.

I now see why lil g ducked Ward. Ward would have dogged lil g all night and beaten him up on the inside.

Not sure you can say rounds where you are being tattered with hits while landing a pretty shot is a round you won. No disrespect but I think that's part of the problem with how fans score fights here. The winner of the round is who does the most damage.
