Oscar is Going to be Salty!

Floyd is a straight devious genius, he announce's May-Pac 2 on the same night of Canelo-Golovkin II, completely snatching the momentum from Golden Boy promotions. ODLH got to be raging right now, somewhere in Vegas yelling **** the Mayweather's!

    Floyd is a clever dude

It's not that clever. It's a pretty basic maneuver.

Also the fight is gonna do huge regardless. It's not like no one's gonna order it because they'll be too busy speculating about a rematch between Floyd and Manny. Last year's MayMac was a much bigger threat since it was booked only a month before the first GGG/Canelo match, yet it still did 1.3 million buys on PPV and the third largest boxing gate in history.

Because he's upstaging Oscar's event.... again, that's what makes it clever and devious. Floyd is brilliant at getting under Oscar's skin, I look forward to hearing Oscar speak on May-Pac 2 I'm sure there will be a lot of hate.....and comedy!

You guys are confused. He's riding momentum. Not squashing it. By announcing it on an weekend in which people are talking about boxing, it gives both events more attention and is a win-win.

If he'd done it a few weeks ago, it would have been genius.

Personally, I think it's pretty funny that Floyd keeps doing things like this. But I don't see what's the big deal, I'm still watching GGG vs Canelo tonight, and I highly doubt this announcement is going to have any effecf on the buys

I think Red Foxx is right, he's riding the momentum of a big fight to grab some of that attention that's already in boxing today.

Ahh, some logic. A rare sight here on NSB.
