win, lose or draw GGG has still been a great champion.

Ggg will be mentioned in same breath as hacker and srr.
These guys waited until Ggg had slowed down and lost a bit of edge and power.
Didn't fight Ggg when Ggg wanted it. That's like Duran waiting u til hacker was 36. Would a 36 year old hacker have beat the lightweight?

good world class champion but if he loses then we wont know if he was ever an elite fighter.

Bizarre that he only won one title in the ring (Lemieux) the others were given to him.

Lets hope he can make it 10 defences on the trot tonight, from Rubio to Alvarez, a good 4 year run of 8 wins plus one draw so far. Surpass sir Baldie Abe Abraham da man.

3G waited till he was 34 before facing his first titlist and first number 1 contender. That is blatantly about 3G deliberately choosing not to face such sooner.

YOu cant blame everyone else for what he chose to do. "Its them not me" is ridiculous.

... since 2013, GGG was after some big money fight -- he managed to get two of these... I don't thing he's too much concerned with his "legacy" by now...

Same goes for Canelo. Golovkin would be a decent win but far from great.

                    Too late for Golovkin.
Which recent middleweights have fought good fighters?

That wasn't the question. Anyway, do you consider Canelo great?
