No, it was Ward who said "Wait a year, I just need to fight my dying manager first. And my shoulder really hurts. And you have to fight in my back alley. And I get most of the profits."
Ward was a dirty fighter, and boxing is better with him being gone.Comment

O so what you saying is when GGG wanted to fight him is when he couldnt fight. Oh I gotcha, and when Ward could fight GGG didnt want to fight no more lol I gotcha it makes sense.Comment

When was this fight supposed to take place? 2014-5 is the only possibility and then Ward said no, because he had a booboo and had to fight with his dying manager.
After 2016, Ward was not going back down to 168, as he has said. So when the fϊck should this fight have happened?Comment

It wouldn't make him great either way.
Golovkin hasn't fought one great champion in his whole career. Canelo is a good fighter but nothing great himself.
Same goes for Canelo. Golovkin would be a decent win but far from great.
Too late for Golovkin.Last edited by BoxingIsGreat; 09-15-2018, 06:24 AM.Comment
